Complete Leg Workshops

Eligible for MCE’s

These workshops will introduce you to the Össur Total Solutions system. This system will allow you to have optimal clinical and business outcomes through quality fit, and complete prostheses delivery. You will also learn how to use a scanner for an optimal fitting socket, trans femoral brim design, custom modifications, and efficient ordering process.

Duration: This is an 8-hour workshop.

Low Active Solutions

Eligible for MCE’s

​There is a growing need to enhance the prosthetic knowledge of low activity amputees to better address challenges and care. This workshop will present education about medical necessity, low activity solutions available from Össur, functional assessments, and reimbursement and coverage determination. Hands-on experience with liners, balance knee locking and control, custom liners, and socket componentry will also be provided.

Duration: This is a 4-hour seminar and is available by request only.

Outcomes to Assess

Eligible for MCE’s

​This intermediate one-day course on June 2, 2018 is designed to provide physical therapists and prosthetists with tools to assess lower limb amputee balance performance and prescribe evidence-based intervention. Participants in this course will become familiar with how prosthetic componentry impacts static and dynamic balance performance.

Duration: This is a full day seminar in Orlando, Florida.
