Enjoying the big outdoors often means navigating some pretty uneven surfaces. Even a trip to the shops can have its own obstacles. But help is at hand. Talux is the prosthetic foot designed specifically for fluid, natural walking motion on any kind of ground.

Feel the difference on uneven ground. Talux offers superb stability, as well as high-energy return, enabling the user to walk further and for longer. From the second the heel touches the ground to the moment the toe lifts off, it would be difficult to find another prosthetic foot that simulates a more graceful, effortless movement.

This foot's design reproduces many of the anatomical features of the human foot, which is why walking on it feels so natural. It even has an Achilles strap, which simulates the movement of the Achilles tendon and helps to propel the user forward.

Active Tibial Progression

Vertical forces generated at heel contact are stored and translated into a linear motion described as Active Tibial Progression. This action reduces the need to actively push the body forward using the contralateral foot and also equalizes stride length.

Benefit: More natural gait and reduced walking effort.

CARBON-X® Active Heel

CARBON-X® Active Heel

The Carbon-X Active Heel stores the energy during loading response as the amputee transfers his or her body weight onto the prosthetic foot. Energy is gradually released from the heel providing optimal return for forward progression of the limb.

Benefit: Reducing impact to the joints and residual limb thus increases comfort, reduces joint and limb damage.
